Rockwell City – Dorothy J. Keiser 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 27, 2022 at her home.  A Private Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Rev. Dan Fernandez officiating.  Burial of casket will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City.  A Public Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the United Methodist Church.  Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family.

     Dorothy is survived by her children, Tresa O’Mara of Des Moines, Scott Keiser of Rockwell City, and Brent (Shelly) Keiser of Rockwell City; and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph O’Mara; second husband Dean Keiser; her parents, Francis and Elsie (Zingg) Fritz; brothers, Paul and Bob Fritz; and sister Doris Archer.

     Dorothy Jean Fritz was born September 27, 1931 at Lake City, Iowa.  She graduated from Rockwell City High School.  On November 23, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dean R. Keiser.  The couple farmed all their lives.  Dean passed away in 2010.  Dorothy was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church.
