“You're a helluva guy, Chris. You never failed to give me a chuckle with your smartass comments. I don't like to imagine a time when you aren't there to wander next door as we light off fireworks, sit around a fire, or watch Crazy Russian Hacker. I hope you get your ghosting privileges soon because you are, and will continue to be, sorely missed. ”

“You fought so long and hard, Chris. You didn't deserve to face such a battle and knowing your gone is wretched. It's hard to let you go. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Your kids, grandkids, and friends will keep your memory alive, so know that you will never be forgotten. My heartfelt sympathy goes to everyone that is missing Chris - his sense of humor (how ever twisted it may have been...), the way he'd stop everything when you needed someone to talk with, the squirrely side that kept him young. Whether sitting around a campfire, tossing horseshoes, or even mowing the yard as a neighbor we got to be close. Chris was a good guy and a dear friend. It hurts to say goodbye. I'll see you again. Rest in peace, Chris. I love you.”
