“North West Mission State University where Ken and I met in the early 70’s. Being an Iowa Farm Boy, Ken fit right in on our NWMO family farm, as he knew how to throw bales of hay, clean hog sheds & grain bins, work hard, party hard and drink a lots of beer!! His nickname during college was Korn….just like a well formed kernel, broad shoulders and narrow at the hips. Always cool to watch the girls admire him for first glacé his awesome shape but most of all his sweet, kind, loving personality.
Having an opportunity to work in Iowa for decades, I have been blessed always knowing I had a friend near Jolly Iowa I could stay with when ever I needed a friend to visit with. And I was blessed to have spent time with a great visit Ken on the evening of August 22, 2022 when we hugged and I told him to be sure to look up my folks and tell them hello as they always thought the world of Korn.
I will truly miss my life long friend Ken Heim “Korn” ”
