Rockwell City – Mark E. Maulsby 72, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.  Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Pastor Dan G. Fernandez officiating.  Burial of casket will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City, with Military Graveside Rites by Amvets Post #41 of Rockwell City.  Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City.  Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

     Mark is survived by his wife Diana; daughter Mandy Anderson of Rockwell City; son Matthew (Cassy Rheingans) Maulsby of Fairmont, MN; 8 grandchildren, Joy, Lucas, James, Braxton, Ty, Tanner, Oliver, and Hazel; sister Jane (Mike) Spencer of Rockwell City; sister-in-law Sandi Maulsby of Rockwell City; brother-in-law Jim Barker of Marshall, MN; sisters-in-law, Donna (Donovan) Sonnichsen of Denison, Lori (Steve) Magnuson of Denison, and Dorothy (Lonny) Popp of Denison; and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughters, Debbie and Tricia Littleton; parents, Ruhl and Mary Ellen (Bawden) Maulsby; brother Noel Maulsby; sister Jeanine Barker; and brother-in-law Dale Lilleholm.

     Mark Edward Maulsby was born February 6, 1951 at Lake City, Iowa.  He graduated from Rockwell City High School, with the Class of 1969.  Mark attended Iowa Central Community College and Northwest Missouri State.  Mark was drafted into the United States Army and served in South Korea.  Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Rockwell City where he farmed the family farm.  Mark was married and two children, Mandy and Matthew were born to this union.  In 2000, he was united in marriage to Diana Littleton at Rockwell City.  The couple resided in Denison for several years before returning to a farm near Rockwell City.
