“Aunt Ruth was a strong person with character, strength, and a strong love of family and country. Uncle Al and Aunt Ruth have always had a special place in my heart and will always continue to do so. Every year Freda and I made our way home to R.C. to visit Aunt Ruth, watch "The Young and the Restless", talk about politics, the weather, and of course family memories. I called Aunt Ruth every Sunday to see how she was doing. Our last visit in Sep ended up with Aunt Ruth wanting me to wash her windows accompanied of course with constant direction on the application of windex and attention to detail...."Yes Aunt Ruth".... When Freda and I left, we gave Aunt Ruth a special hug "this" time and heart felt, "I love you Aunt Ruth." I have always felt that regardless where that someone special is, here or there, they will always remain alive in our hearts if we remember them and talk to them often. I will always remember Uncle Al and my AuntRuth in my thoughts, prayers, and my special talks. Aunt Ruth remains as she always has and will, in my heart and a photo by my bedside. I love my Aunt Ruth. I will call you Sunday Aunt Ruth! ”
